There’s no simple answer to that question. To paraphrase Dan Ackroyd, “He’s both a floor wax and a breath mint”. He’s a writer…he’s a producer and he’s a voice-over artist as well as the President of the award-winning production house Media Mechanix.
He’s a composer having written hundreds of songs, jingles and instrumental tracks appearing regularly on TV, in films and in advertising with longtime collaborator Paul Brokaw…but that’s another story.
He’s also a lifelong professional musician who has appeared all over the world with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone; Micky Dolenz…former lead singer and drummer of the Monkees; power trio Magic; Allman’s sound-a-like Tinder; pop band extraordinaire No Soap; The Denice Given Band and her little big mouth; classic blues band Rocket 88 and lately with premier Beatles Tribute The Liverpool Shuffle.
and just how BIG is his BIG MOUTH?
He’s voiced over 6000 radio and TV commercials during a 22 year career. His work has won numerous local, regional and national awards. He’s done spots for Coca-Cola…The New York Yankees…P.C. Richard and Son…Long Island Power Authority…Jiffy Lube…Seaman’s Furniture…The Long Island Partnership…Bryant & Stratton College…Harvey Electronics…CorrectDeck…The Suffolk Water Authority…Reuters…Boulder Creek Restaurants and many more too numerous to list.
And he has BIG OPINIONS to go with his BIG MOUTH.
Follow Joe’s BIG MOUTH and join the conversation. It runs the gamut from ADVERTISING IDEAS to KEEPING TROPICAL FISH to GROWING EGGPLANT to THE BEATLE’S MUSIC to the NEW YORK JETS, the latest POLITICAL BS and more.
You get the idea.
